Twin Falls Optimist Club Hosts Annual Casino-themed Charity Fundraiser
20.05.12
TWIN FALLS • Can’t get to Vegas? Let the gaming city come to you.
Tonight is the 36th annual Lost Wages Night, a casino-themed charity fundraiser by Twin Falls Optimist Club.
With ticket sales surpassing 300, the club moved the event from its longtime venue to Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center this year to accommodate the growing crowd.
The move gives the club space for 20 tables devoted to the popular card game 21 and another eight tables set up for Texas hold ’em. The larger venue also means the Optimists can bring back bingo and add craps to the gaming mix, said Optimist board member and event co-chairwoman Kayla Smola.
