Brick floor or grass under my oak tree?
May 20, 2008 by star | Posted in Garden & Landscape
I'm undecided to lay brick floor or grass under my live oak tree because if I put brick floor it's going to get dirty because of the bird crapping and if I put grass I'm afraid
I don't think I recall ever seeing many live oak trees that do have grass growing underneath them. The large canopy of the oak prevents sunlight from reaching the ground underneath,

I think the bricks would look really nice, but to be honest, i would grass it. The roots of the oak will be a real pain when you are trying to level the ground to lay the brick,

How come poison oak can spread from one bodypart to another but not the hands?
Apr 17, 2007 by Brad | Posted in Skin Conditions
I have a pretty bad case of it right now, and I just wondered why this crap never is contracted on your hands or feet. I know the skin tissue is rather different but can anybody
The skin is thicker on your palms and on the bottom of your feet. The blisters are caused by an allergic reaction so to get that reaction the poison oak has to get near the tissues

I have a shelf above the kitchen countertop and it got wet because it's near the sink. the Poly has worn off after 7 years. What are the correct steps in order to sand it, to finishing
First if it had polyurethane on it, you have got to sand it all off in ONE DIRECTION, NOT WITH THE ORBITAL SANDER. Once you get it smooth (edges included). Wipe it down with
