First off, stay away from big 6 big 8 and field bets. They give you very bad odds. Craps is a very fast game so start out conservatively. Play the pass line and take your odds.

Go off the strip and find a low limit table such as a $2, $3, or $5 minimum bet table. Bet the pass line and take single odds.
